Teresa - RVT
Educated at Seneca College for her RVT and Fanshawe College for Pre-health Sciences, Teresa has been with us since 2005. Having worked in clinics since 1988, Teresa has a wealth of experience including working as an emergency technician. In addition to three cats and fish of her own, she also fosters cats for the North Halton Kitten Rescue. Teresa has owned Jack Russell terriers (JRT) in the past and we often call her our JRT whisperer!
Brittany - RVT
We first met Brittany when she did her high school co-op with us in 2007 and she has been with us ever since. Brittany went on to get her RVT at Georgian College, gained experience doing co-ops and working and then became a permanent member of our clinic family in 2011. Brittany also pulls double duty as our office manager, helping to keep our clinic running smoothly!
Megan - RVT
Megan graduated from Ridgetown College with her veterinary technician diploma in 2015; prior to this she had completed her Bachelor of Science in Animal Biology from the University of Guelph. Megan is our world traveler – she grew up in Texas, Abu Dhabi, Guelph and Grand Bend.
Since 1986, Ina has been the cornerstone of the clinic family; with us for over 30 years. Educated in Scotland, UK, Ina moved to Canada and for 15 years, raised Shelties, including two Canadian champions and five Canadian titles. At home with her cats, she gardens, reads & loves antiquing.
Nadine shares her home with many, many, many, many cats and kittens as her family are the coordinators of the North Halton Kitten Rescue. Nadine has a special place in her heart for the misunderstood and delinquent cats. She is the kind soul taking care of our patients while they are in the hospital, whether it is for 10 minutes or 10 days. In her time off, Nadine likes to travel to National parks for camping and photography.
Anna lives at Beagle Haven, RR#1 Georgetown, where she is surrounded by her troop of Beagles: Buster, Ellie, Mya and Will. Anna joined our team in late 2014 and we have loved every minute! She is kind, patient and caring. Having had many, many dogs over the years, Anna brings a wealth of experience in dog ownership and compassion; if you are dealing with an illness in your pet, odds are that Anna has BTDT (Been There, Done That). In Anna’s spare time, you’ll find her doting on her granddaughter or one of her beloved dogs. For the motorcycle aficionados, you may recognize Anna as the other half of Brian Olsen Racing.
After a distinguished career with Mercedes-Benz, Gayle left the corporate world and has decided to spend her “retirement” pursuing her passion – working with animals. Gayle has 3 lovely fur babies at home; Ginger and Lacey the English setters (aka the girls) and Charlie – the cockapoo. Recently Gayle has branched out and adopted big boned rescue cat named Jasmine.
Originally from England, Anthea worked in the area of volunteers and health care management for over 25 years before joining our clinic as a receptionist in 2008. You may recognize Anthea from one of her many involvements in community events. Anthea can be found on stage or in the wardrobe department of many community theatre productions. She spends most weekends competing or training for agility with her 2 border collies, Merlin and Daisy. As well, Anthea is the ring-leader of the annual Canada Day festivities in Glen Williams. Is it any wonder she was named citizen of the year in 2008!?!
Tina has been with us since 2008 and is the lovely, smiling face who will meet you here bright and early! Tina is a favourite amongst our staff as in addition to her reception duties, she is in charge of buying snacks and beverages to keep us all well fed and happy! Tina has 2 huskies, Zoe and Sofie; 3 cats, Holly, Nemo and Sami; 1 rabbit, Velveteen; and 3 hens, Chloe, Liz and Betty. When her menagerie isn’t keeping her busy, she is volunteering with North Halton Kitten Rescue.
Tracy joined our team in the summer of 2015. Tracy comes to us with years of dog walking experience – many of you will recognize Tracy as your own dog walker! Tracy has a B.A. and a Master’s degree in Psychology. When Tracy is not at the clinic or caring for her dog, Buster and cats, Bear and Kaley, she is often found at a baseball diamond watching her son and daughter!
