Nancy’s journey in veterinary medicine began in high school with a student placement at a small animal clinic—and she never looked back. What started as a part-time job turned into a 27-year career where she worked her way up from lead receptionist to office manager!
What truly drives Nancy is the bond between people and their pets. As both a long-time veterinary professional and pet parent, she understands the joy and challenges that come with pet ownership. That empathy helps her build strong, lasting relationships with clients and ensures that everyone—human and animal—feels welcome and supported at the clinic.
As Practice Manager at Georgetown Animal Clinic, Nancy is passionate about mentorship, team growth, and community outreach. With deep respect and belief in her team, she’s excited to help the clinic thrive and continue making a meaningful difference.
Outside of work, Nancy is a proud mom of two, a Scouts Canada Leader (Beavers colony), a volunteer at First Nation clinics, and an active member of her condo board. Her furry (and finned!) family includes Oliver, a 12-year-old Lab mix; Vader, a 17-year-old DSH; Nora, a 6-year-old DSH; and a beta fish.
