Dr. Evan Freeman
Proud father and avid sports fanatic, Dr. Evan has been practicing at the clinic since 2006 and is now co-owner alongside Dr. Kara. With a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacology from McMaster University and his DVM from the Ontario Veterinary College, Dr. Evan is the resident walking encyclopedia, particularly in the areas of dermatology and internal medicine. Dr. Evan lives in Georgetown with his wife, Dr. Amanda, daughter Matilda, and son, Seth. They share their home with several rescued animals, including cats Julius, Raisin, and Patrick.
Dr. Kara Gray
Growing up on a dairy farm - as well as in her uncle's veterinary hospital - from the time she was a little girl, Dr. Kara knew veterinary medicine was where she would end up. After receiving a Bachelor of Science from Queen's University in Kingston, she then completed her DVM from the Ontario Veterinary College. Gentle, thoughtful and highly skilled, Dr. Kara has been with our practice since 2008 and co-owner since 2012. She has a passion for surgery, with a special interest in dentistry, ophthalmology and wound repair. Dr. Kara lives in Georgetown with her husband, Jim, daughter, Ryah, and cats Ripple and Allie.
Dr. Ali Sklepowicz
It's hard to believe that Dr. Ali is the newest doctor to join our team ~ it feels as though she's always been part of the family! A graduate of the Ontario Veterinary College, Dr. Ali earned an Honors Bachelor and Masters Degree in Biomedical Sciences from the University of Guelph prior to receiving her DVM. Dr. Ali and her husband, Stefan, and new daughter Scarlett, share their home with their furry children ~ Nick the cat and Leo the Border Collie. Dr. Ali's attention to detail and innate warmth is endearing her to patients and clients alike. Dr. Ali has a great deal of experience with complicated internal medicine cases and has a special interest in ultrasonography.
Dr. Amanda Frank
Dr. Amanda joined our clinic in December 2012, bringing with her a wealth of knowledge from her work in emergency veterinary care, emergency surgery, and animal shelters. She has also spent much of her career working in clinics like ours; often in multiple clinics or animal shelters at the same time! While receiving her DVM from the Ontario Veterinary College, Dr. Amanda traveled to Africa to gain even more diverse experience as a veterinarian. She also serves as a member of the Board of Directors at the Toronto Humane Society. Creative and artistic, Dr. Amanda lives in Georgetown with her daughter, Matilda, new son, Seth, and cats Julius, Raisin, Kevin and Patrick...and of course, Dr. Evan, too!
