Vaccines for Puppies & Dogs

Safeguard your canine friend from deadly diseases with a vaccination plan.

Vaccination is an integral part of your pet's preventive healthcare. Some vaccines provide complete immunity against specific diseases, whereas others limit the effects they could have on your pet's health. Creating a vaccination plan for your pet helps protect them against harmful diseases that could be detrimental to their health.

When do you create my pet's vaccination plan?

Vaccination plans are integrated into your pet's wellness program. For puppies, their wellness program aims to get your pet started on the right track to living a long and healthy life. We give you the tools and support necessary, so your puppy can grow into a healthy and happy dog. Each vaccination plan is specially tailored to your pet's needs. For adult dogs, their wellness programs include any boosters they need to maintain their immunity against diseases they've been previously vaccinated against. To book your pet's appointment, please get in touch with us at 905-877-2258.

How often does my pet need vaccines?

Puppies should be vaccinated from 6 to 8 weeks until they are a few months old. Then, they receive vaccines less frequently, every 1 to 3 years. The first few months of your puppy's life are the most critical for their development. Until your puppy is fully vaccinated, they are susceptible to many serious but preventable diseases. We will discuss your puppy's risk factors and develop a vaccine plan to provide customized protection against various infectious diseases. These include:

  • Distemper
  • Parvovirus
  • Hepatitis
  • Parainfluenza
  • Leptospirosis
  • Rabies
  • Bordetella (kennel cough)
  • Borrelia burgdorferi (Lyme disease)
