Teresa graduated from Seneca College in 2000, in the Veterinary Technician Program. She chose this profession to learn how to treat and care for animals needing medical attention and to ensure that people know how to give animals a safe, healthy and nurturing life.
She enjoys working with companion animals, such as dogs and cats, which is why she chose to work in a small animal practice. She has experience handling and caring for other small animals such as Rabbits, Guinea Pigs, and Birds from her previous work placements and personal experiences as well.
One of her favorite things about her job is nursing animals back to health and seeing their improved progress from our medical efforts and skills.
She loves seeing the animals energetic and full of life once again, and how happy they are to see their owners after surgery or treatments. A fun fact about Teresa is that she loves thrift store shopping!
