Hi! I am Cyara,

I am a Veterinary Assistant here at Georgetown Animal Clinic. I attended Durham College’s animal care program as class of 2024 and then continued my education to Sheridan College where I graduated from their Veterinary Technician program as class of 2026. A future goal I have is to become a Registered Veterinary Technician, and I hope to learn one day to discuss veterinary medicine in another language!

I am enthusiastic about helping our animal friends and I find this field of work highly fulfilling. Surgical and dental procedures are areas of treatment that interest me the most, but I also appreciate how all factors of health care interact and depend on each other. The welcoming environment and encouragement to grow are things that I love about our clinic!

Outside of work, I enjoy horror movies, playing video games, and going on walks. At home I have a dog named Kingston, and a cockatiel named Chika whom I love!
